‘Twas the night before Christmas, and while at your house, you’re in bed and not stirring, because… you got perfect gifts for your loved ones weeks ago and didn’t need to last minute shop (:

So behold, below are some gift ideas to spark some inspiration on what to get the travelholics in your life and help you feel accomplished for shopping early.

Support the small businesses on Etsy — there are so many great holiday gifts on there! Especially travel-themed ones.

Some of my personal favorites from there are:

1. Customized pictures of you with your friends or family. After a lot of searching, I went with GrizzlyTeam to create a picture of me and my best friend, and I’m really happy I did because their artwork is high quality, they were very accommodating with any edits I asked for, and they had a very quick turnaround!

2. Christmas ornaments from HolidayEveryDayArt — Even before 2020, I tried to buy Christmas ornaments from small shops every winter (the surfing shark that I’m holding in the photo is from @iam8bit’s local artist 2019 holiday showcase), and this year I went with getting these gorgeous gold-leaf globe ornaments from Caroline.

3. Etched wine glasses — select from dozens of options which city you want etched perfectly into drink ware (wine glasses, coffee mugs, pint glasses, etc.) from WellTold.

Scratch posters — there are so many different variations now! World maps, bucket list places, national parks check list, etc.

Travel Journals —  A notebook or journal is something that every type of traveler could find a use for while on a trip.

Atlas Obscura book — This is perfect for someone who wants to see a lot of the world. This book (which also has a Cursed Places edition) showcases unusual and unseen travel destinations.  It’s my favorite coffee table book, and definitely is a conversation starter when people are over.

Shop some of these suggestions on Amazon. As an Amazon affiliate, I might get a small commission of some purchases, but at no extra cost to you!

Rifle Paper Co.’s travel prints —  Rifle Paper is known for their floral designs and bright colors, but they also make really pretty prints of different worldly destinations, like Havana, Iceland, Bali, San Francisco, London and so much more.

Check out the travel prints here

P.S. — I’m not getting anything from putting this link here, I just REALLY love this brand and their products (: but if Rifle Paper ever wanted to work with me… my answer is definitely yes.

Did any of these sound like good holiday picks? I hope some ideas were sparked from reading this list! Let me know if there’s something you feel would be a great addition here (:

Thank you for reading, & happy holidays!
